The unique combination of these two authors’ voices prove to increase the perspective in this novel with a nice blend of fast-pace, historical detail, and male-female interest. With the rich scene of a world at war as a backdrop, this book offers a fantastic glimpse into the German occupation of France and the conflicts, personalities, and determination of individuals caught in the middle. I loved the detail combined with enough romantic moments to whet a ‘romance lover’s’ whistle 🙂
