The only reason I have for choosing this picture as my favorite London picture is that is seems to give a nice memorable view of pieces of London. Big Ben is a notable trademark, of course, and then just behind is the London Eye – throw in a double decker bus and it might have been perfect. At least there’s a cute little black European car in the shot 😉

After leaving the Tower of London, we hopped aboard the Tube and came to Westminster. One of the coolest memories I have is walking up the steps from the Underground and looking up to see Big Ben directly in front of me. I never expected it to be right THERE and so BIG. Okay, yes….it’s called BIG Ben, but until I saw it in person, I really didn’t grasp how BIG.
