This is my favorite picture from the entire trip. It’s a view of the Wye River valley from Haddon’s gardens. The small bridge across the river is called Dorothy’s bridge and it is rumored that Dorothy Vernon met her sweetheart, John Manners, on this bridge to elope with him in the late 1500s.
