Riber Hall

by | Sep 22, 2008 | Fiction Book Reviews | 0 comments

Past the cobblestone lanes and lovely, foggy views from Riber Castle in Derbyshire, we passed Riber Hall. Not only did it have wonderful views of the rolling green hills and splendidly secluded walled gardens, the stone work around it was fantastic, almost gothic in some respects. We met a wonderful friend while walking this lane and we were even invited in for tea. Who says the British aren’t hospitable? All we met were friendly people!! I can’t wait to go back.
