Great place and friends to visit in those, right, Paula?

It sounds strange, but just being in my home was solace enough. After being in apartments a long time (we moved a lot so buying was out) in 2019 we purchased our home and it’s been so sweet to have the space and coziness during this time.

We live near Alum Creek State Park here in Ohio and right after we sent our daughter off to Pennsylvania for school we would go there in the evenings to walk. It was October so it was like walking through a fairyland of color and it just soothed away a lot of troubles being in the midst of God’s creation.

I went to work every day of the pandemic but in the evening, I would walk outside with my husband and I loved that the air was clear and clean and we had less “nuisance” type birds and more quail and ducks and geese just wandering the neighborhood. I miss the pause already.

That’s a great way to put a positive spin on a crazy year 🙂 A “pause” for what is important 🙂

Being able to visit Biltmore helped me as well 🙂 But other than that, it was being able to grab my mom and take her to my sister’s in NC where we spent almost two months. I live by myself so it was good to have human connection. And who doesn’t feel better when their mama is around?

One day, dear friend, I look forward to a personal tour of Biltmore with you. We’ll make it happen.

Blessings on release day, dear Pepper.
