There are some nice people in the world. Then there are some amazingly sweet people – ones who make random acts of kindness a daily occurrence. Well, today – I’d like to honor one of those people.
Casey Herringshaw
Apart from being an Alley –Cat for The Writers Alley, a handmade-jewelry business owner, a country girl, and a women’s fiction author, Casey is an encourager.
Combining two of her passions, encouragement and reading fiction, Casey created the blog ministry: Operation: Encourage An Author.
Well, it’s time to turn the tables on this cute young lady. If you’ve been encouraged by Casey’s Operation: Encourage An Author blog, her Writing For Christ blog, her posts at The Writers Alley, or in any other way – leave a comment for her.
In honor of all she does for others, let’s celebrate her gift of encouragement! Leave an encouraging post for her today!
Thanks, Case
You’re a sweetheart! Thanks for putting Love Into Action!!
Romans 12:
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Casey, you are truly an amazing woman of God! I am so impressed with you, I don’t even know where to begin. To write so beautifully, to be such an encourager, to be so stinkin’ cute, well, God did good when He designed you!
I love you, girl, and am so honored to call you friend!
Thank you for sharing those Scriptures. I think they are appropriate. Ms. Casey has definitely used all her gifts to encourage us and she most definitely exuberates God’s joy!
