Lessman_final-cover-2The American Christian Fiction Writers Conference was this weekend in Denver, where slews of published authors, aspiring hopefuls, editors, and publishers gather to celebrate the amazing gift of ‘story’. Among the awards given is the Book of the Year award.
I am so tickled to announce that my friend, and fantastic author, Julie Lessman won for her Debut novel A Passion Most Pure.
Many wonderful authors finaled in the contests and I’m glad for all of them.
What an honor…most importantly, what an honor for the Lord. They have the opportunity to imitate their Master and influence hearts through the craft of storytelling.
There were many different categories, from long historical to young adult…and each had a winner and finalists. Julie won in the ‘debut novel’ category.
Congrats to all of them and many blessings for their future writing.
And (with my biggest Appalachian yeehaw) Congrats Julie!!!
