Okay, so I’m NO Keira Knightly, but here is my pic with Matthew MacFadyen’s bust from the 2005 movie Pride and Prejudice. This adaptation was nice, funny, and hit most of the main points of the book, but you can only fit so much of a classic into a 2 hour movie. 
Some people disliked 2005 Darcy, saying he appeared emotionless, but I thought Matthew gave him a insecure quality that was endearing. Of my favorite Darcys, 2005 comes in second.

I thought he was quite passionate in this one…which is my reason for loving this Mr Darcy than the Colin Firth role. I didn't buy it as much with Colin, but I sure bought it with Matthew! Sigh…
