Elizabethtan Garden at Haddon Hall

The gardens to Haddon Hall probably began in the late 1500s and featured an ‘Elizabethtan knot garden with gravel paths in between” as stated by the guide book. It’s beautifully designed, with three tiers and a lower area leading down to the River Wye. This particular pathway seemed specifically inviting.
