What a GREAT Cover of a Book!!!

Making Waves by Lorna Seilstad is as fresh as the air around her world of Lake Manawa. With the heroine, Marguerite Westing, having a life as unpredictable as the sea – this DOES NOT fit in with her by-the-book mother who wishes to marry her off to a rich suitor…rich BORING suitor with a bit of a nasty attitude.

Enter Trip – her little brother’s sailing instructor, and you have a story that is fun-filled, sassy, and a fabulous journey. Marguerite reminds me a tad bit of Scarlett O’hara. Not in her looks, but in her attitude. I loved her sassiness and determination, even though both usually got her into trouble, especially with Trip Andrews.

But just as romance is exploding between these two, Marguerite is forced to make a devastating choice. Marry someone she doesn’t love to save her family.

Can she trust God with her future and her heart?

To find out the answer, leave a comment and your name will be entered for a chance to win Lorna’s wonderful novel. A name will be drawn on Tuesday, Sept 21.

This book was provided by Revell and gladly reviewed by me.

Available September 2010 at your favorite bookseller from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.
