Who Do You Write Like?

This is a really funny online quiz. I Write Like. You type in a sample of text and then it will ‘compare’ your writing to some of the ‘greats’. Who is my writing most like?

I write like
Mark Twain

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

Is that HiLARIOUS or what?!? Works out well, I love humor 🙂 Check it out at

Okay – here’s what I got the second time 🙂

I think I need to do it a third time for good measure 😉 I’m shooting for Jane Austen.

Nope – no Jane Austen the third time. I got Dan Brown. LOL

    1. LOL, J.K Rowling! Okay, she’s an awesome author. Truly. Way to GO, Sherrinda. Hmmm, does paranormal keep pointing its finger at you 😉

Case, LOL – whose names did you see on there.

I think I’m going to have to try it again, jsut for fun and see if I get the same person 🙂

  1. I think it was the FIFTH time I put something in that I finally got Margaret Mitchell! LOL The other times I got Stephen King, Cory Doctorow (whom I understand is a fantasy/sci-fi guy), and Ursula LeGuin (cool!). It was really interesting, though. I put in blog posts, fanfic, my manuscript, and my journal, and got something different every time!

    1. Hey Regina,
I see how it works. Try it so many times until you get the author you want. (wink)
Hmm…good idea, but I was already tickled with Mark Twain on the first try.

      1. Funny thing is, I can’t remember which passage it was that GOT Margaret Mitchell! I’d like to think it was my manuscript, but I really think it was a piece of fanfic I found on my computer! LOL
