Darcy through the years…2003

Pride and Prejudice takes on a contemporary, hip, and pink look in this modernized version with Orlando Seale as Darcy. I appreciate the cute humor and fun attitude of his movie, but it’s not a 5-star film like it’s 2005 counterpart with Kiera Knightly and Matthew McFayden. If you want to watch a clean, decent, fun…sometimes silly retelling of P & P – with college-aged problems, pick this one up and have fun.

Oh, Pepper, I haven't heard of this movie! I'll definitely have to check it out! And Just Jane by Nancy Moser????? That is such an awesome book! It encouraged me as a writer sooooo much. You and I must be kindred spirits!!!!! You NEED to come to the conference in Sept, girl!

I'd LOVE to come, but it would take a miracle. (Good thing I'm a Christian and believe in those, huh?) 🙂 I'm a big fan of kindred spirits and will take as many as God will allow – bring it on!I suppose you say that as a reference to Anne of Green Gables too, eh? 😉

This movie hits really close to home since I'm Mormon and that's the world of this modern take…I grew up right where everything was filmed! This one gets watched at least once a month!
