Ransome’s Honor

Kaye Dacus brings us back to the Regency era with her delightful book Ransome’s Honor.

For a FANTASTIC review, visit this site:

Otherwise, here are my two cents worth:

Along the lines of Jane Austen’s Persuasion, Kaye Dacus introduces us to the world of Regency romance, intrigue, and…the Navy. Julia Witherington and William Ransome are two lovers separated for 12 years by choice and misunderstandings, now the opportunity to renew those feelings introduces itself in the most unlikely of ways: marriage.

The cast of characters are fun, the villians – devious, and the atmosphere – quite lovely. It is a sweet romance without a lot of scandal, but if I read the descriptions of the other two books in the trilogy – scandal may be on the way.
