As usual, Laura Jensen Walker adds fun, flare, faith, and in this case, flowers to create the perfect arrangement for a story. Paige is truly stuck in life and thinking God’s forgotten about her. She doesn’t want to resign to the sad inevitable, but feels trapped by the needs of those around her and the horrible twists of ‘fate’. This novel helps remind us that even in the difficult times, heartaches, disappointments, or lethargy, God can work the most amazing changes. It isn’t always easy to remember that ‘all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose…”, but when we look back through the pages of our lives we read the penmarks of His grace – and He doesn’t even have to use a GPS 😉
If you enjoy books from Mary Conneally or Cathy Marie Hake, you’ll like Laura Jensen Walker. I recommend Miss Invisible as another great list from this hilarious and talented author.
Sounds like a great book!
