Footpaths Walks and Rock Walls

This is an example of the stone walls trailing through the Derbyshire countryside and throughout most of England. We learned that these walls were constructed to help give work to poor people in need of income. It was kind of like Roosevelt’s New Deal here in the states, I guess.
